ANCHOR Fest: Penny & the Pits, Space Bud, Dayblooms & Green Eyes, Witch Hands

Get ready for a night of independent music featuring four distinctive acts, each bringing their own sound and energy to the Beer Garden stage.

Penny & the Pits is the gritty, adventurous punk-rock project of Maritime music veteran Penelope Stevens, known for her work with Motherhood. Expect a bold, high-energy performance that balances raw emotion with an irreverent sense of fun.

Space Bud, a Charlottetown art-rock band, draws inspiration from classic rock, New York art rock and the alternative sounds of Seattle. Their distinctive blend of influences makes them a homegrown act worth catching live.

Dayblooms, an indie-dream-pop band from Charlottetown, combines melodic songwriting, atmospheric guitars and ethereal vocals to create an immersive sound.

Green Eyes, Witch Hands, hailing from Bathurst, New Brunswick, brings a unique folktronica sound that blends moody acoustic textures, electronic elements and nostalgic songwriting.

Together, these four acts promise an eclectic night celebrating the creativity and diversity of Atlantic Canada’s independent music community.
