This year marks the 15th Anniversary of Hunter’s Ale House.  We’ve seen a lot of changes in the food & beverage business over the past decade and a half, from the implementation of the Smoke-Free Places Act to the shift from mass produced beer and spirits towards craft beer, artisanal distilleries, hard cider and wines. We’ve seen “pub food” evolve from traditional favourites to exciting and flavourful creations: Hurrah for Hunter’s curry anything!!! We’ve been fortunate to have some huge names grace our stage over the years, along with too many local and regional musical acts to mention, and have participated in the growth and evolution of the music industry on PEI. Changes in recent months due to Covid-19 have been among the hardest yet most rewarding of our time at the corner of Prince and Kent Streets, and the bond between Hunter’s Ale House and our guests has never been as evident. Yes, the restaurant and bar scene certainly has changed on the island in the last few decades, and we’re beyond pleased to have been an integral player in this process.

We look forward to celebrating our anniversary with you all and thank all of our past, current and future guests for your support. We are proud to be an independently owned and operated business and look forward to what the next fifteen years brings. Of course, we definitely wouldn’t be where we are now without our past and current staff family as well.
